“A solução para a crise que estamos vivendo é a vacinação e temos visto que ela está ganhando mais velocidade”, afirmou Zema, ressaltando que a aplicação de vacinas e o combate à pandemia são prioridades da sua gestão.<br style="text-shadow: none !important; box-shadow: none !important;" />

Desde 18 de janeiro, quando teve início a maior operação de vacinação da história de Minas Gerais, até o momento, foram recebidos via Ministério da Saúde 3,1 milhões de doses. Desse total, 1.049.148 de pessoas foram vacinadas com a primeira dose, enquanto 423.518 segundas doses foram aplicadas na população. A responsabilidade de aplicação dos imunizantes é do município, que recebe as doses de uma das 28 Unidades Regionais de Saúde (URS) do estado. <br style="text-shadow: none !important; box-shadow: none !important;" />

No último sábado (20/3), 542.550 novas doses chegaram a Minas Gerais, ampliando a imunização para idosos entre 70 e 74 anos, além de trabalhadores da saúde e quilombolas, seguindo o Plano Nacional de Imunização (PNI). <br style="text-shadow: none !important; box-shadow: none !important;" />

“Estamos reduzindo ao máximo a reserva técnica de vacinas para imunizar o máximo de pessoas nos municípios. Além disso, todas as vacinas que chegam ao Estado são enviadas às regionais de saúde da forma mais ágil possível, agora inclusive aos finais de semana. E estamos cobrando dos municípios que façam a imunização com agilidade”, afirmou o secretário, esclarecendo ainda que Minas Gerais já está seguindo a nova orientação do PNI de utilizar todos os imunizantes como dose 1, ampliando, assim, o quantitativo da população protegida contra a covid-19. <br style="text-shadow: none !important; box-shadow: none !important;" />
