<p> A Prefeitura de Santa B&aacute;rbara, atrav&eacute;s da Secretaria Municipal de Sa&uacute;de, lan&ccedil;ou no s&aacute;bado, dia 8 de novembro, a campanha Novembro Azul, que visa &agrave; preven&ccedil;&atilde;o ao c&acirc;ncer de pr&oacute;stata&nbsp;e outras doen&ccedil;as masculinas.</p> <p> Com o objetivo de conscientiza&ccedil;&atilde;o e preven&ccedil;&atilde;o do c&acirc;ncer de pr&oacute;stata, durante todo este m&ecirc;s os PSFs estar&atilde;o desenvolvendo a&ccedil;&otilde;es que visam a sa&uacute;de do homem. Entre as v&aacute;rias atividades previstas est&atilde;o a realiza&ccedil;&atilde;o de consultas, exames, palestras e tratamentos para algumas doen&ccedil;as, como o diabetes mellitus, que &eacute; uma doen&ccedil;a cr&ocirc;nica de base gen&eacute;tica e heredit&aacute;ria. Para atender um maior n&uacute;mero de pacientes, os PSFs v&atilde;o realizar consultas em hor&aacute;rios espec&iacute;ficos, de 16h &agrave;s 19h.</p> <p> O ponto alto da campanha ser&aacute; na pr&oacute;xima sexta-feira, dia 14, quando ocorrer&aacute; o dia D do Novembro Azul. Funcion&aacute;rios da Secretaria Municipal de Sa&uacute;de estar&atilde;o de 8h &agrave;s 13h, na Pra&ccedil;a Pio XII, fazendo aferi&ccedil;&atilde;o de press&atilde;o arterial, glicemia e &Iacute;ndice de Massa Corp&oacute;rea (<em>IMC</em>). Tamb&eacute;m ser&atilde;o repassadas orienta&ccedil;&otilde;es sobre o C&acirc;ncer de Pr&oacute;stata, alcoolismo, entre outros.
